Last week we made mobiles! I found the idea in a fantastic book i bought while on holidays in Australia….but now i’ve lost it! Dont even remember what its called…Paper Crafts something. Im so upset. I’ll post the name of the book if i find it. Fingers crossed.

The kids eyes looked like they were going to fall out of their heads with excitement when i showed them a small version of what we were going to make. Was a good chance to learn about colours, shapes, the weather & solar system (though i doubt they’ll remember anything about that).

Here’s the template i made if you want to do it too. I printed it on A3 paper, because the diameter of my circle was 25cm. I used a cutting knife to cut the lines inside the green circle beforehand because i didnt want the kids to slash themselves in the middle of the lesson! So all they had to do was colour both sides and then cut the big outer circle with scissors.

Watch out if you use paint because the card can get a little damp and lose its shape.

Its a bit tricky to fold it out the first time so ive tried to simplify it using colours.

Goodluck! Send me pics if you do it…i want to see!
